There are ongoing travel rules with the main tourism countries for easier and safer entry to Cyprus with new categorisations depending on their data.
21.01.22 - Excellent news ! From 01.03.22 fully vaccinated individuals will NOT have to test before arriving in Cyprus.
For those not fully vaccinated tests will be in place at either or both ends depending on each countries category and current data.
These categorisations are as those previously in place - Green, Amber and Red.
No isolation measures in Cyprus apply in any of these categories.
21.01.22 From 01.03.22 fully vaccinated UK visitors are allowed to travel to Cyprus with no testing ! Vaccination details and a completed Cyprus Flight Plan will be the only requirements. Return flights to the UK already do not require any tests for those fully vaccinated.
Cyprus continues to be a very safe destination with very high testing in place.
The categories are in line with the guidelines of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
22.01.22 Due to the Omicron variant testing requirements may be required before departure and after arrival depending on the country of origin. Please check the latest instructions by country as these requirements are being updated regularly. Tests at the Cyprus airports are only €15-19 and very efficient.
Countries within the EU can travel freely with a COVID PASS within the colour category requirements and with the relevant testing.
22.01.22 As the number of vaccines continue to increase by the day Cyprus is now completely out of lockdown. The normal distancing and maximum numbers for certain activities are in place but generally Cyprus is fully open.
Over 85% of the adult population of Cyprus have now received a first vaccination and over 83% have received their second vaccination. A full schedule of the booster vaccine being administered is now also fully underway.
Cyprus is completing up to 130,000 tests per day which is the highest % per population in Europe.
Diving and Dive boats have been allowed to operate again fully since May 2021.
Both the airports in Cyprus are fully open.
Please contact us for the latest information and full details.
22.01.22 - Pissouri where we are located has only had a small number of reported cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
The Dive Centre and our equipment are fully cleaned, serviced and fully sanitized in line with local, European and National Diving authority guidelines in relation to COVID-19 including DAN Europe. There are also specific guidelines to follow in relation to sanitizing equipment after each use, with particular attention to regulators, suits, masks, snorkels and BCD’s. Post lockdown a maximum of 6 people at a time are allowed in the Dive Centre with distancing also in operation. Self disinfecting products are readily available with regular temperature checks and the use of masks also readily available.
