The half a day Discover Scuba Diving experience programme is designed for people from the age of 10 who want to try scuba diving for the first time.
A similar experience is available for 8-9 year olds and is called Bubblemaker.

Discover Scuba Diving covers basic knowledge on the equipment, some easy theory and then we take you into shallow water where you practice some basic skills and build your confidence.  Once you are ready we then move into open water for a dive in the warm, crystal clear, blue waters and explore the underwater world for the first time.

At the sites we use there is a large range of fantastic marine life to see including sea bream, puffer fish, trumpetfish, colourful wrasses, pipefish, damselfish and even a good chance of a turtle. The underwater scenery is also stunning with a varied range of features to explore.

Depths are from 2m to 12m depending on your comfort level and as you gain in confidence during the dive.

We have the very best conditions and locations to ensure our divers get the most from this amazing holiday experience. We also highly recommend a follow up open water dive on the same day to enjoy the experience even more and to help cement the skills and knowledge learned during the first dive.

Discover Scuba Diving is suitable for all ages, for divers who haven’t dived for a long period, and is an excellent taster for those thinking of doing the full Open Water Course.
